Installing and changing an SD card in a smart device can vary depending on the type of device you have. In general, however, there are a few steps you can follow to get the job done. Here is a general guide:
Step 1:
Calex Smart devices support SD Cards up to a maximum capacity of 128GB. It must be FAT32 formatted.
Step 2:
Turn off the smart device, by unplugging it or removing the batteries, before you start installing or changing the SD card. This will prevent you from accidentally damaging or losing data on the SD card.
Step 3:
Locate the SD card slot on the device. Depending on the type of device, the location of the slot may vary.
Step 4:
If you want to change an SD card, first remove the old SD card from the slot. You do this by gently pressing on the card and letting it pop out of the slot.
Step 5:
Insert the new SD card into the slot. Make sure the SD card is correctly aligned with the slot, then gently push it in until it clicks into place.
Step 6:
Turn the device back on after you install the new SD card. The device should now automatically detect the SD card. If the SD card is not yet FAT32 formatted, a message will appear. You can then format the SD card in the Smart app through the Smart device settings, depending on the capacity of the SD card this may take some time.
Step 7:
Check the storage capacity of the smart device to see if the SD card is correctly installed and recognized.
