How do I activate a Cloud subscription for my camera or video doorbell?

In order to store video footage from your Smart Camera or Smart Video Doorbell in the cloud, you must have a cloud subscription.

Activating a cloud subscription is a simple process that can be done in two ways.

 

Activate via monthly or annual payment

  1. Open the Calex Smart app
  2. Go to the relevant camera or video doorbell for which you wish to activate cloud storage.
  3. Select the 'Cloud' option in the control panel.
  4. Then select the 'Activate' button.
  5. Select the desired subscription period (monthly or yearly) and the number of days that the images should be stored (7, 14, or 30 days).
  6. Then select the 'Bank Card' button and activate the subscription by entering the required payment information.
  7. Then select 'Pay and subscribe'. After activation, the costs will be debited periodically based on the selected subscription period.
  8. The cloud subscription is now activated and you can use the storage service.

 

 

Activate with a Voucher

  1. Open the Calex Smart app
  2. Go to the relevant camera or video doorbell for which you wish to activate cloud storage.
  3. Select the 'Cloud' option in the control panel.
  4. Then select the 'Activate' button.
  5. Then select the 'More' option in the top right corner.

    Then select the 'Exchange service' option in the menu that opens at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Enter the voucher code and select the 'Redeem now' button.
  7. If you have entered a valid voucher code, the confirmation of activation and the period of validity will be displayed..
  8. The cloud subscription is now activated and you can use the storage service.
