If you've purchased a second-hand smart doorbell or smart camera and are trying to connect it to your smart app, you may receive a notification that the device is already linked to another account. This typically means it’s still connected to the previous owner’s account.
To protect the original owner’s privacy and security, devices already linked to an account are blocked from connecting to new accounts.
To use the device, it must first be unlinked from the previous account. This can sometimes be challenging, especially if you don’t know the previous owner or don’t have access to their account.
