Getting started
Before you start adding this CALEX SMART product, write down the name and password, including spaces and capital letters, of your Wi-Fi network. Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal.
 
Note: This item only works on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, not on a 5GHz Wi-Fi network. If you get a message that the product only works on 2.4 GHz networks, then you need to change your network's Wi-Fi frequency to 2.4 GHz in the settings menu of the router. Click here for an overview of the required Wi-Fi settings.
Please refer to your router manual or contact your internet provider for help on how to change settings.
 

Adding the CALEX SMART product to the Calex App
Download the Calex Smart app from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store. Click on the one of the logo's below while viewing this page on your phone. You can also scan the QR code found on the packaging with your phone.

Open the app. Are you using the app for the first time? Then follow the instructions on the screen to create your account.

Smart IR-remote
The image below shows the Smart IR remote control for the Calex Gaming LED Strip COB. This remote allows you to easily adjust various settings of the LED strip, such as brightness, color, and lighting effects. The table below provides an overview of the functions of each button on the remote control and how to use them for optimal control of your LED strip.

ON/OFF Press the button to control product on/off

Warm white/Neutral white/Cold white

Press the button to adjust the product into white light mode. There are totally three different white light modes (warm white /neutral white /cold white ), which are adjusted by pressing this button repeatedly.
Brightness/Speed/IC In static mode, press the button to adjust the product brightness.In dynamic mode, press the button to adjust the speed of the product transformation.In IC setting mode, press the button to adjust the product length.
IC mode Press the button to make the product enter IC setting mode, in this mode, you can set the length of the strip (the length of the strip light up)
Auto Press the button to adjust the product to switch to the next dynamic effect.
Separation/mixing dynamic effect Press the button to adjust the product into the separation/mixing dynamic effect
7 static colors Repeatedly press the button to adjust the product into seven different static colors
Three-color segmentation Press the button to adjust the product to enter the static effect of three-color segmentation
Seven-color segmentation Press the button to adjust the product to enter the static effect of seven-color segmentation
Sixteen-color segmentation Press the button to adjust the product to enter the static effect of sixteen-color segmentation
Rainbow dynamic effect Press the button to adjust the product into the forward/reverse direction of the rainbow dynamic effect
Trailing light dynamic effect Press the button to adjust the product into the forward/reverse direction of the trailing light dynamic effect
Water flow dynamic effects Press the button to adjust the product into the forward/reverse direction of the water flow dynamic effects
Meteor shower dynamic effects Press the button to adjust the product into the forward/reverse direction of the meteor shower dynamic effects
Floating dynamic effect

Press the button to adjust the product into the floating dynamic effect

Flashing dynamic effect Press the button to adjust the product into the flashing dynamic effect
Jumping dynamic effect Press the button to adjust the product into the jumping dynamic effect.
Meteoring dynamic effect

Press the button to adjust the product into the meteoring dynamic effect.
