I have two Calex A60 RGB+CCT 2 on my google home both have stopped working recently in google home with all function options missing. They both work fine within the Calex app and i have tried removing and reconnecting but still the same works fine in calex app but google home just lists them with on off function like the calex plugs but it does not even turn them on or off
Strange that you suddenly can't control the A60 lamp properly from Google Home. I would like to find out for you what exactly is going on here. For this I need the device-id (virtual-id) of the lamps you are experiencing this problem with.
Hi Brian,
I've just checked and It's started working again.
I'm guessing there was some sort of glitch in the API call between Google Home and your app.
I'll assume something happened on your side that fixed it.
For future reference (in case it happens to someone else) here's everything I had tried to fix it (although without direct success)
-Turned off power to all lights for a minute
-Reset my router
-Relinked to the Home app (as in refreshed the link within the home app)
-Unlinked and relinked in the home app
-Uninstalled and reinstalled both apps
-Cleared cache/storage for both apps
-Deleted all devices from the Calex App, signed out, created a new account with a different email address, added all devices and then linked with Google Home.
Thanks for responding! Will update here if anything changes.
I think the problem was Google side I raised it with them and after being passed through three different departments I finally got through to somebody who understood the problem I explained since the home update they had stopped working and if it works anything like my current tech support job they would need to look at the device table in the background as it has an error they said it would need raising further as they did not have the resources. I can confirm when I got home and reconnected my account to google its all started working again I tried all the same things as Morgan as well before I raised it here and with Google.
Thanks for the feedback and good to hear that it is now working again.
Google has been tinkering with their Google Assistant transition to Gemini quite a bit lately. As a result, certain assistant functions may suddenly stop working or not work properly. In our experience, emerged issues are usually fixed fairly quickly by Google.

Would you both please provide me with the device-id of your lamp so I can find out: https://help.calex.eu/hc/en-gb/articles/10916832563613-Where-can-I-find-the-device-id-in-the-smart-app

I'm having the same issue in the last few days.
Have tried all forms of reset and restoration
