To reset your Smart product, you will need to perform a reset procedure so that the configuration settings and connections are cleared, returning the device to its original state and allowing it to be reconnected to a new network or a new Calex Smart App account.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi Smart lamp:
To reset a Smart bulb, screw it into a fixture. Should there be multiple bulbs in the fixture, temporarily unscrew or unscrew those bulbs to prevent these bulbs from going into pairing mode at the same time as well.
By turning on/off in the steps below, we mean to interrupt the power supply to the lamp.
- Make sure the lamp is ON and then turn it OFF
- Wait 1 second
- Turn the lamp ON and OFF (within 2 seconds)
- Wait 1 second
- Turn the lamp ON and OFF (within 2 seconds)
- Wait 1 second
- Turn the lamp ON (The lamp will now flash)
After this, you can add/pair the lamp to the Calex App.
Camera / Video doorbell and other smart devices:
To reset a camera or video doorbell press the reset button or pinhole for about 5 seconds until the light on the device flashes or the device makes a sound.
After this, you can add/pair the Smart device to the Calex App.
Bluetooth Mesh (Outdoor)
Bluetooth Mesh lamp:
To reset a Bluetooth outdoor lamp follow the steps below. By turning on/off in the steps below, we mean that the power supply to the lamp must be interrupted.
- Make sure the lamp is ON and then turn it OFF
- Wait 10 seconds
- Turn the lamp ON and OFF (within 2 seconds)
- Wait 5 second
- Turn the lamp ON and OFF (within 2 seconds)
- Wait 5 second
- Turn the lamp ON (The lamp will now flash)
After this, you can add/pair the lamp to the Calex App.
NOTE!
Should you be using the Calex Link, please add the lamps from the Calex Link management page.
Bluetooth Mesh smart plug:
To reset smart outdoor plug press the reset button for about 5 seconds until the light on the device flashes.
After this, you can add/pair the lamp to the Calex App.
