To reset your Smart product, you need to perform a reset procedure so that the configuration settings and connections are cleared, returning the device to its original state and allowing it to be reconnected to a new network or a new Calex Smart App account.
Smart lamp:
To reset a Smart lamp, turn it in a luminaire. Should there be multiple lamps in the fixture, temporarily remove or unscrew those lamps to prevent these lamps from going into pairing mode at the same time too.
By turning on/off in the steps below, we mean to interrupt the power supply to the lamp.
- Make sure the lamp is ON and then turn it OFF
- Wait for 5 seconds
- Switch the lamp ON and OFF (within 2 seconds)
- Wait for 1 second
- Switch the lamp ON and OFF (within 2 seconds)
- Wait for 1 second
- Switch the lamp ON (The lamp will now flash)
After this, you can add/pair the lamp to the Calex App.
Bluetooth Mesh lamp (Outdoor):
To reset a Bluetooth outdoor lamp, follow the steps below. By turning on/off in the steps below, we mean to interrupt the power supply to the lamp.
- Make sure the lamp is ON and then turn it OFF
- Wait for 10 seconds
- Turn the lamp ON and OFF (within 2 seconds)
- Wait for 5 seconds
- Switch the lamp ON and OFF (within 2 seconds)
- Wait for 5 seconds
- Switch the lamp ON (The lamp will now flash)
After this, you can add/pair the lamp to the Calex App.
ATTENTION!
If you are using the Calex Link, add the lamps from the Calex Link management page.
Other Smart devices:
To reset another Smart device such as a camera, for example, press the reset button or pinhole for about 5 seconds until the light on the device flashes or the device makes a sound.
After this, you can add/pair the Smart device to the Calex App.
