Storage options for our smart cameras and video doorbells
Our smart cameras and video doorbells offer several options for storing images. Depending on the type of device and your preferences, you can choose local storage or a cloud subscription.
Local storage via SD card
- Battery-powered devices:
For battery-powered devices, images can be stored locally on an SD card. This refers to events, such as when a doorbell rings or motion is detected. - Adapter-powered devices:
With mains-powered devices, there is more flexibility. In addition to event recording, you can also choose continuous recording here.
Storage via the cloud
- By purchasing a cloud subscription, you can store events without relying on local storage. This is ideal if you want to be sure images are stored securely online. Please note that continuous recording is not available with a cloud subscription.
