Getting started
Before adding this CALEX SMART product, write down the name and password of your Wi-Fi network, including spaces and capital letters. Ensure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal..
Note: Check whether your Matter device supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks or 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
If your Matter device only works on 2.4GHz networks, you will need to change the Wi-Fi frequency of your network to 2.4GHz in the router's settings menu. Contact your internet service provider for assistance.1. Download the CALEX SMART app from the Google Play Store, the Apple Store, or scan the QR code.
2. Open the app. Using the app for the first time? Follow the instructions on the screen to create your account.
3. In the app, select Add Device (1) and then select the option 'Scan' (2).
The app will then ask you to scan the Matter QR code (1). You can find this code on the product itself, on the packaging, or in the manual.
If scanning is not possible, you can also manually (2) enter the Matter installation code via the 'Enter Setup Code' option.
Once the code has been recognized, the product will be securely connected to your Wi-Fi network. The Calex Smart App will automatically connect to the device and complete the installation. After a few moments, you can name the product and assign it to a room in your home, so that it can be easily found in the app..Once paired, the Wi-Fi Matter product is immediately ready for use. You can control it via the Calex Smart App and easily integrate it into your smart home. An additional advantage of Matter is that you can also share the device with other supported platforms, such as Google Home, Apple Home, or Amazon Alexa, without having to reinstall it.
