Quick start
- Turn on the device and pair
- Press the battery compartment and slide it down, remove the insulation sheet and put back the battery.
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds, the device will beep and enter the pairing state. - Pair the device
- Open the Apple Find My app.
- Hold the device close to your iPhone, iPad, tap the Items tab, tap+ and then Add Other Item.
- Tap Connect.
- Type a name for your device, select an emoji.
- Tap Agree to acknowledge that this item will be linked to your Apple ID. Tap Finish. - Enable Lost Mode
- Open the Apple Find My app, tap the Items tab, then tap your item. Under Lost Mode, tap Enable.
- Read the instructions, tap Continue and enter a phone number or email address.
- Confirm the information, customize the lost message, and tap Activate to complete the setup. - Remove the device
- Open the Apple Find My app, tap the Items tab, then tap your item.
- Tap Remove Item and then tap Remove to complete the operation.
Note: After removing the device in the Apple Find My app, if you want to pair it, you can open the Apple Find My app and do it in 10 minutes.
If there is no re-pairing within 10 minutes, the device will leave the pairing state,and the device and the Apple Find My app cannot be paired at this time. If you need to pair the device, you need to press the device button for 3 seconds and the device will beep. At this point, the device enters the pairing state and can be re-paired with the Apple Find My app.
Main Functions
Locate your Item
If your missing item isn't nearby, the Apple Find My app can still help you track it down using the Apple Find My network- hundreds of millions of iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices around the world. Nearby devices securely send the location of your missing device to iCloud, then you can see where it is in the Apple Find My app. It's all anonymous and encrypted to protect everyone's privacy.
Play Sound
- Open the Apple Find My app, tap the Items tab, then tap your item.
- Click Play Sound, and the device will beep, so you can find the item easily.

Pairing state
After installing the battery, long press the button for 3 seconds, the device will beep and the device will enter the pairing state.
Re-pairing the device
After removing the device in the Apple Find My app, it will not shut down and will be in the pairing mode. If there is no re-pairing within 10 minutes, the device will leave the pairing state. If you want to pair a device at this time, you need to press and hold the button for 3 seconds, the device will beep and enter the pairing state. At this time, the device enters the pairing stateand can be paired with the Apple Find My app again.
Factory Reset
When the smart tag needs to be paired with a new account, or when the original account removes the smart tag in the Apple Find My app, the smart tag is not near the phone with the original account. In this case, the smart tag needs to be reset. The steps are as follows: After removing the device from the Apple Find My app, long press the button of the device for about 12 seconds until the device beeps for once. Then immediately double click the button of the device twice and the device beeps twice, finally release the button.
Identify a found Smart Tag
Should you have found an unknown Smart Tag and the owner of this Smart Tag has activated Lost Mode. Then you can easily check if the owner of this Smart Tag has set a message.
1. Open the Apple Find My app and go to 'Objects'. Then select the 'Identify found item' option here. | 2. Then hold your Smartphone close to the found Smart tag. Once it is detected tap the Smart Tag and select 'Continue' |
3. Next, press the Smart tag button once and then choose “Continue On website | 4. Here the serial number of the respective Smart Tag is displayed as well as the message and contact information set by the owner. |
