Calex Outdoor products operate via the Bluetooth Mesh protocol. These lamps and luminaires can be connected directly to the smartphone via Bluetooth, but then have limited smart functionality. We therefore recommend pairing these lamps with the Calex Link to make use of all smart functions. The Calex Link connects to your online Calex account via Wi-Fi and controls the linked Outdoor Mesh lamps via Bluetooth.
