I have just changed my phone to a Samsung Galaxy A16, the tutorial on how to get notifications on a Samsung phone is totally different to my phone. Any idea how I can set my new phone up to see my Calex Video doorbell, please?

It may happen that certain settings within Android are not the same on every brand and type of smartphone, even between different Samsung models.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide a description for every combination of brand - type - Android version. Often the settings are similar and are located in the same places within the settings.
If you go to the 'Account' -> 'Settings' -> 'Privacy Settings' option from the Calex Smart app, you will find most of the settings you need to check. From this screen, clicking on the various settings should automatically take you to the corresponding settings screen within Android.
In addition, you can adjust the necessary permissions for the Calex Smart app via the Android settings -> 'Apps' -> 'Calex Smart app' -> 'Notifications' and/or 'Permissions'.
If this doesn't help you restore the settings and permissions at all. Then you might consider completely uninstalling and reinstalling the Calex Smart app. After the first launch of the Calex Smart app you will be asked to accept the necessary permissions, if you do this the settings should also be made correctly.
