- Switch off the power:
Always switch off the power at the fuse box before you start installing. Safety comes first.. - Preparing the wiring:
- N (blue): Connect the neutral wire directly to the N terminal of the dimmer and through to the lamp..
- L (brown): Connect the phase wire to the L connection of the dimmer.
- Connecting the switch:
- Connect the changeover contacts of the switch (1) to the ~1 and ~2 outputs of the dimmer..
- Connecting the lamp:
- Connect the L contact of the changeover switch to the black wire of the lamp..
- Connect the other end of the lamp to the neutral wire..
- Check and switch on:
- Check all connections carefully.
- Switch the power back on and test whether the dimmer is working correctly with the switches..
