The Calex Smart App gives you complete control over your privacy. You can specify which data you want to share for each feature. You can always manage these settings via Account → Settings → Privacy settings.

Data analysis
Data analysis helps us gain insight into how our products are used. This information is used exclusively to improve our smart products and services. You can enable or disable this feature at any time.
Personalization
Personalization enables you to receive recommendations within the app for smart scenes, products, and services that may be relevant to you. This makes your experience with the Calex Smart App more personalized and convenient.
Features that affect the operation of the app:
- Notifications
Notifications alert you to messages from your devices, system updates, and other important information. - Location
Access to your location is used for automations that depend on time and place, such as activating devices at sunrise or sunset. Without location information, some automations may not be available or may be less accurate.. - Picture
The app may request access to your photo album to better support assistance and feedback, for example when submitting a problem or question. - Camera
Access to the camera is required to scan QR codes when pairing cameras or doorbells. This makes the installation process simple and secure. - Microphone
The microphone is used for video communication on doorbells and for voice commands in the app. Without microphone access, these features are not available.. - Bluetooth
Bluetooth is used to pair your smart devices and connect them to the app. Without Bluetooth, some devices cannot be controlled.
Privacy and Data Management
You can always view our current Privacy Policy and Service Agreement via Account → Settings → Privacy Policy Management.
Export your device data
You can easily download log data from your smart devices using the "Export Device Data" option in the app. This gives you insight into your usage and allows you to manage your data yourself.
