Calex Smart App can now be linked to Home Assistant!
From now on, you can easily integrate your Calex Smart App with Home Assistant. This allows you to manage all your smart Calex devices directly from one central system.
1. Open Home Assistant and add the Tuya integration.
- In Home Assistant, go to Settings → Devices and Services.
- Click Add Integration and search for Tuya.
- Click on Tuya
2. Connect your Calex-account
- Enter your User Code, which you can find in your Calex Smart App via Account → Settings → Account and Security.
Then select Submit.
- If the user code entered is correct, the screen below will appear with a QR code.
Open your Calex Smart App, tap the + icon in the top right corner, and then select Scan QR code to scan it.
- The screen below will appear in the Calex Smart App. Confirm the connection by tapping Confirm login.
Then, at point 2 on the screen, select the Submit option..
- When the connection is successful, the screen below appears..
Once you have confirmed this screen, you can assign a room to the Smart devices found. This step is optional and can be performed later by linking devices individually to the desired area..
3. Check the connected devices
- In Home Assistant, go to Settings → Devices and services → Integrations → Tuya or go to Settings → Devices and services → Devices.
- Check that the connected Calex devices are displayed correctly and can be operated.
Congratulations! After successfully completing all of the above steps, your Calex Smart devices are now available within Home Assistant. You can add them to your Home Assistant dashboard and control them using the various automation options offered by Home Assistant, allowing you to manage and optimize your smart home entirely according to your preferences.
