please tell me that if I get a calex remote control .. I don't have to connect all 18 bulbs to uses it do i .. i know that I am bining all my bulbs i have had nothing but horrendous problems with calex

Hi David,
It seems like your smart products aren’t exactly making life easier for you, and we totally get how frustrating that can be when your tech feels more like trouble than convenience.
We used to have two Smart Wi-Fi remotes in our range: the ‘Calex Smart Wall Switch’ and the ‘Calex Smart Remote Control’. Ironically, these ‘smart’ remotes aren’t compatible with all of our Wi-Fi bulbs. So, maybe they weren’t quite as smart as we thought...
The good news is that we've since discontinued these remotes and are working on a new version that will work with all Calex bulbs. However, some stores might still have leftover stock of the older models, so you could come across them.
If you’ve got one of these old Smart Wi-Fi remotes, just be aware that they might not work with all your bulbs. At least now you know in advance!
