I added your bulb to the Calex Smart app, but when I click on the username at the top to presumably log in, I end my email for the verification code and them the screen goes white. Unable to do anything so I checked the email in case you have to verify from a link or something but there is no link, just the code.
I've tried clearing app cache and data, restarting the app and restarting the phone and same result each time. So I cannot get any further with that.
Then Google Home, when I try to add the device following your guide (https://help.calex.eu/hc/en-gb/articles/8846831919005-How-to-connect-Calex-Smart-app-to-Google-Home?input_string=cannot+connect+to+google+home) then regardless of default browser (MI Browser) Chrome or Brave, I get the same 'Username does not exist' which I don't get as a username was never created to log in to the main site. Checking my profile on the site, there is no username field, only email and phone so I added my phone number, tried again to add the device in Google Home then when prompted enter my number instead of my email and same error again.
Please give me insight as to what is going wrong, as this seems to be way over complicated and nothing seems intuitive and I'm about to return the device at this rate as I got it specifically to work with my Google Home.

You indicate that you have added your lamp to the Calex Smart App, then you indicate that you click on the username to log in.
It is not entirely clear to me what exactly you have done, since you have managed to link the lamp in the Calex Smart app that would mean you have already created a Calex Smart App account and are already logged into the Calex Smart App.
In order to pair Calex Smart products in your Calex Smart App and connect to your Wi-Fi network, you need an account in the Calex Smart App.
Creating an account is a one-time process and is done as follows:
1. Start the Calex Smart App
2. Choose the "Register" option
3. Enter your email address, accept the terms and conditions and choose 'Get Verification Code'.
4. Enter the code you received by e-mail.
5. Enter the desired password and confirm it.
The e-mail address and password should be kept safe, as you will need this combination to log in again to your Calex Smart app in case you are logged out. But you also need this combination to connect the Calex Smart app account with your Google Home app.
This account you create in the Calex Smart app is separate from the account you create on our support website help.calex.eu and vice versa.
Now that you are logged into the Calex Smart App with your Calex Smart App account, you can connect your Calex Smart products.
If the above information still does not help you, please make a screen recording of the steps you perform, perhaps this will shed more light on exactly where it goes wrong.
