Soon we will be launching this new update of the CALEX Smart App. This update has come about based on valuable feedback and wishes from our valued customers. We have thoroughly overhauled the CALEX Smart App to improve the user experience.
Just to give you a heads up, this update brings with it some great new features, including:
* Dark Mode: A new dark mode for the app, making using the app at night or in dark environments much more comfortable.
* Customizable App Dashboard: Customize the app dashboard to your personal preferences, giving you quick access to the features that are most important to you.
* Lighting Scenes: Create your own lighting scenes. With the ability to combine lights of different types.
* Room management: Room maintenance is now easier and clearer.
* Tablet support: The Calex Smart App now has native support for iOS and Android tablets
* Visual improvements: Various visual improvements, new colors, icons, etc..
And this is just a taste of what you can expect. We're working hard to make the app even more intuitive and functional.

I got a notification about this on my phone today telling me to open the app and see all the new features, but it looks exactly the same... The iOS app has been updated, not the Android version
The app is being rolled out in phases. We do this intentionally so that we can intervene immediately should an issue arise unexpectedly, despite the fact that we have tested the app thoroughly. The Android app is also expected to be available to everyone in the course of today/tomorrow.

The iOS version of the new Calex Smart App has been available to everyone for several days now. The Android version of the Calex Smart App is not currently available to everyone. The cause lies with Google. We are currently in discussions with Google to get the app available to everyone as soon as possible.
Herewith a quick update regarding the CALEX Smart App for Android. There were some issues at Google that stalled the earlier rollout. These have since been resolved.
The rollout has been underway for several days; it is being done in phases. Everyone is expected to be offered the update within a few days.
