Getting Started

Before you start adding this CALEX SMART product, write down the name and password, including spaces and capital letters, of your Wi-Fi network. Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal.

Note: Check if your smart device supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi or 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
If your smart device only works on 2.4GHz networks, then you need to change your network's Wi-Fi frequency to 2.4GHz in the settings menu of the router. For support with this, please contact your internet provider.

1. Download the CALEX SMART app from the Google Play Store, the Apple Store or scan the QR code.

  

2. Open the app. Are you using the app for the first time? Then follow the instructions on the screen to create your account.

3. Make sure your smartphone's Bluetooth is turned on.
Click on “+” shown in the upper right corner then “Add Device”. 
Verify that the correct Wi-Fi network is selected, if needed enter the correct Wi-Fi password, and click “Confirm.”

Turn on the smart device. 
You will hear a sound and the smart device will test itself. 
After that you will hear a sound and the led indicator light on the front will start blinking.

The app then scans for new devices, the smart device should be found automatically.
Tap on the found smart device and it should then be added automatically.

If your smart device is not found automatically via Bluetooth, choose your smart device from the list of products and follow the instructions on the screen.

Reset: You may need to reset the smart device first. Find the reset button and press it for about 5 seconds until you hear a sound. 
Then proceed with step 3.
